In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top dining and restaurant applications in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance on a unified platform. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we explore the download and active user trends for these popular apps.
KFC UAE - Order Food Online experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 16.7K and peaking at 25.1K by the end of December. Active users also grew steadily, starting from 282K and reaching over 310K by the quarter's end.
Meanwhile, McDonald’s showed a consistent rise in downloads, climbing from 8.3K to a high of 13.4K in mid-November. The app's active user base expanded significantly, beginning at 216K and peaking at 291K in early December.
Pizza Hut UAE- Order Food Now recorded a gradual increase in downloads, reaching a peak of 14.6K in the week before Christmas. Its active users showed a similar trend, starting at 64.7K and increasing to 140K by early December.
Hardee's UAE saw a moderate rise in downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 4.9K and 6.5K throughout the quarter. Active users grew from 19.8K to a peak of 36.8K in mid-November, before settling at 26.8K at the end of December.
Finally, Starbucks UAE showed a decline in downloads over the quarter, starting at 8.8K and dropping to 1.9K by the end. However, its active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 30K to 37K.
